Nick DePinto is a theatrical sound designer, sound engineer, and technician. One of his biggest interests is in how sound can be used to tell stories and assist others in delivering messages. When sound can be used in a way that makes a piece more meaningful, the potential for a show increases dramatically. Nick thrives in scenarios where sound is able to shine through and lead to emotion in a piece.
Nick DePinto has worked as a sound designer and engineer with many regional theatre companies, including: Pittsburgh Public Theater, PICT Classic Theatre, Resonance Works | Pittsburgh, Rogue Machine Theatre, Bazalaam Beats Productions, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, and St. Michael's Playhouse. He is a second-year MFA Sound Design student at California Institute of the Arts, and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he obtained a BA in Theatre Arts.
